The creative process
Pre-production - Ideas are the kernel to any great project. We meet and discuss your ideas in relation to your music video requirements. We also discuss the budget you have in mind for your project. From this meeting Ocellus Pictures will develop the initial idea based on lyrical content and music style. Next we draw up a storyboard, go location scouting, and plan the shooting schedule following on from further discussions with you.
Production - The music video shoot is where the ideas are created and recorded by us. This is the stage of harvesting the vision in order to create the final product.
Post-production - Once the filming has finished the footage lays dormant. The final stage of the creative process is bringing the footage back to life through editing and post sound mixing process. This is where your music video comes to life!
You are invited to view the initial rough cut and discuss any changes or additions to the video that you might like. Next, your music video is re-compiled and polished as per our discussions and earlier viewings. Finally, the output medium is chosen - DVD, HD, Digital Beta-cam etc., and the final product is presented to you.
